Phuket is not too know well about Halloween celebration although it did not make the resident expat community and their kids had a good time dressing up, trick-or-treating and taking part in other fun activities earlier today. The celebration can be seen by parties held by several schools one day before the actual celebration on Sunday.
At Kajonkietsuksa School, secondary students organized fun activities for their nong in primary: face painting, phantom photo booth; spooky storytelling, jack-o’-lantern carving and, of course, trick-or-treating.
On Sunday, the Friendship Beach will become Frightening Beach, as the Rawai resort is throwing a Halloween Party. Children are invited to take part in activities from 1pm to 5pm before the adult party begins at 5pm. There will be live music and dancing. Dressing up will earn a free drink and chance to win a prize in the best costume contest.
The JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa is inviting everyone to dress up on Halloween night and join in a night of shock and horror with ghosts, ghouls and vampires. There will be a Halloween quiz and costume competitions with prizes. There is also Dance until dawn with cool DJ music and enjoy a devil barbecue buffet to die for in the Blue Drinks venue from 5pm onwards.
